Our success story starts with college friends who wanted to create a unique buying experience in the wireless industry. Frustrated with the lack of options in the marketplace, in the spring of 1999, Jared Turner and Jimmy Kindred opened their first Yakety Yak Wireless Superstore in Mesa, Arizona. They quickly developed partnerships and revolutionary marketing strategies to grow the Yakety Yak brand.
