AT AIRPORTS COUNCIL INTERNATIONAL MEETING

Toronto, ON …On November 12, :10 Minute Manicure was awarded first place for Best Consumer Services Concept by the Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) for its locations at Toronto Pearson International Airport, in recognition for creativity and innovation. :10 Minute Manicure operates 13 locations in the US and Canada, having launched its express manicure service business in January 2006.

The announcement was made during the 2008 ACI-NA Airport Concessions Conference, at which more than 300 representatives of the North American airport concessions industry were in attendance. ACI-NA represents local, regional and state governing bodies that own and operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada. Hosted by the Greater Toronto Airport Authority in Toronto from November 10 through to November 13, the conference helped demonstrate the critical role that concessions play in delivering a superior quality airport experience to customers.

Progressive airports, like Toronto Pearson, continually look to create better environments for travelers who want more choices on how to spend their time and money before and during the transfer of flights. Passenger service offerings, such as manicures and massages, continue to grow within the airport setting, adding relaxation elements to the busy travel experience.

With headquarters in Miami, Florida, :10 Minute Manicure plans to continue its growth through franchise sales, and is targeting airports and busy commercial districts nationally. The company currently owns and operates locations in the US and Canada including JFK International, West Edmonton Mall, Miami International, and Dulles International, among others.

In the past decade, the manicure business sector experienced exponential growth. :10 Minute Manicure entered the crowded market with the goal to elevate the standards and customer perception of the business.
