Allegra Network executive reflects on IFA meeting in Washington

Posted on October 27, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin

At a recent meeting in our nation's capital, the top leaders in the franchising community gathered for the 11th annual International Franchising Association Public Affairs Conference. Recently, the leader of one of the top franchises reflected on the meeting and what it meant to be the face of his brand at the event.

Steve White, who currently serves as chief operating officer for the Allegra Network, said that the gathering was an important opportunity to plot out the industry's next move. White, who has been with Allegra for 16 years, said that he has witnessed major steps in the franchising world during his time.

"As a 25-year veteran of franchising, I've seen tremendous positive growth and changes in the industry," said White. "I'm proud to represent Allegra Network and the franchising industry by meeting with lawmakers to stress the importance of franchising in the United States and to stand up for the issues that are currently facing our business community."

White made franchising news last year when he was appointed the chief development officer of Allegra Network. Prior to the appointment, White lead the Signs Now branch of the company.
