Allstate introduces smartphone application for customers

Posted on July 29, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin

In an effort to make it things easier for customers, one auto insurance franchise recently introduced new technology for smartphones.

Allstate Mobile is available for both the Blackberry and iPhone. The application will give customers the opportunity to view their policies, make any necessary changes, initiate a claim or even find an agent to help them with any insurance related issue. According to the insurance company's leadership, the products reflect the company's values.

"Allstate wants to make it easy to do business with us," said Bob Wasserman, Allstate's vice president of eBusiness. "We're committed to delivering products, services and tools that customers value by extending the protection Allstate offers to new places in new ways. Allstate Mobile is an important step toward these goals."

The application will allow users to pay bills and find nearby franchise locations.

In Georgia, Allstate franchisees were recently honored by being named "premier service agencies" by the company, AccessNorthGa.com reports. Out of 12,000 agencies nationwide, less than 30 percent carry the distinction.ADNFCR-3302-ID-19914031-ADNFCR
