![]() BAB Systems, Inc. Offers The Power of Three Brands To Franchisees![]() Posted on April 28, 2010 by Suzanne Musial BAB Systems, Inc. has become nationally-recognized for its restaurant concepts since the company began its offering as a franchise in 1993. Through its three brands, which include Big Apple Bagels®, My Favorite Muffin® and Brewster's® Coffee, BAB System franchisees benefit from a competitive advantage by offering a variety of quality products at reasonable prices. According to Tony Cervini, Director of Development for BAB Systems, Inc., the company's business model allows its franchisees to concentrate on building sales while also giving them the tools to closely monitor their individual financial performance. "Our goal has always been to offer the best quality bagel and muffin products with the best margins for our franchisees," explained Cervini. When choosing a franchise concept, Cervini believes it is important to look closely not only at the product, but also the people behind the product. "Our franchisees are given access to our complete staff on a personal basis," said Cervini. "We listen to them and are committed to their success." In addition, the company says it makes changes over time to meet the needs of its franchisees and consumers including décor changes, equipment updates and product enhancements to stay at the forefront of today's market. Cervini says good candidates for the BAB Systems concepts are individuals who possess good business sense and a real desire to excel in customer service. "We aim to provide a quality experience for each and every customer. We want to ensure the customer experience is 'WOW' and we give our franchisees the tools necessary to make that happen." "The food industry is always a good option," said Cervini. "Our concepts offer products at affordable prices to consumers in all economic times. And unlike most restaurant concepts, we are a daytime business with most stores closing at 6 p.m. so there are no nights to worry about." Franchise fees for BAB Systems concepts cover site selection and assistance, lease negotiation and review, training, equipment vendor contacts, opening assistance and more. Royalty fees include personalized field support, access to new products and promotions, accounting assistance and more. Stores are protected on a case-by-case basis with the company examining stores to ensure separate demographics. Most franchises can be up and running within six to eight months as stated by company management.
