Best friends can make best franchise business mates![]() Posted on September 27, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin Best friends share everything. A first ballgame, favorite movies, maybe even some childhood mischief, but thanks to a growing trend they have been able to share even more - starting a franchise. At BNet.com, business expert Donna Fenn writes that best friends Nick Friedman and Omar Soliman did just that in a relatively short amount of time. The two friends, who met in the 10th grade and got into lots of trouble as youngsters, have now started their very own trucking franchise, finding a lot of success along the way. The two shared a similar vision of what they wanted their franchise to be. "You want to paint your own personal picture, then come together and see where you're on the same page," said Friedman in an interview with the website. "We were actually amazed that our visions were very much in alignment. We both talked about franchising, being a media success, creating a household brand and being a popular employer of young adults and college students." While it can be a daunting task to start one's own franchise, there are other options for those looking to get into business for themselves. By taking advantage of already established franchise opportunities, many entrepreneurs have found success.
