Introduces new e-filing system to U.S. small to mid-size business community

McLean, Va. – When a product or service comes along that saves time, money and sanity without sacrificing quality, small to mid-size business owners (SMBs) perk up their ears to learn more.

BookKeeping Express is giving the SMB community reason to do just that.

The first U.S. franchise focused solely on providing bookkeeping services nationwide, announced today the introduction of BKE EDocs, a new electronic filing system designed to provide secure, online storage of financial documents. Benefits to SMB owners include convenient, anytime access through an online portal, QuickBooks synchronization and reduced reliance on paper.

"We're tailoring BKE EDocs' safety and security features for the small business community," said Greg Jones, chief executive officer of BookKeeping Express. "All files contained within the e-filing system will have custom security options, meaning business owners can easily manage the access that their employees and service providers have to their internal documents."

The release of BKE EDocs is BookKeeping Express' latest innovation tied to its BKE Connect system, the company's online integrated infrastructure built to service all of the organization's offices and SMB customers. Complete with data back-up and recovery, BKE EDocs helps business owners insure the safety of their documents in the case that an unexpected disaster occurs or files become compromised due to theft. By going digital with BKE EDocs, business owners save time searching for documents necessary for tax and financial reviews.

With 16 franchise and two corporate locations in 10 states covering 121 territories, all of BookKeeping Express' customers will be able to tap into the new solution.

"We're giving our franchise owners the opportunity to provide their clients with the resources necessary to get ahead," added Jones. "Often times the paper trail can get too long to handle for most small business owners. We're helping to simplify things for them."

With more than 28 million small businesses around the United States, BookKeeping Express offers a much-needed service for small to mid-size businesses that are not equipped or do not wish to handle accounting responsibilities.
