Bricks 4 Kidz franchises approved in California![]() Posted on August 06, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin Bricks 4 Kidz, a franchised educational program under the newly renamed Creative Learning Corporation, has been approved for sale in the state of California, opening up a huge market for the rapidly growing company. The program, started in 2008, uses Legos to help stimulate childrens learning through after-school programs, birthday parties and childcare. Bricks 4 Kidz is now operating in 12 states. The California approval was met with enthusiasm by President Brian Pappas. This is an important development for our franchise operation, as it will allow us to penetrate a large and attractive geographic area that is ideal for our business model, Pappas said. The franchise plans to grow by opening new Creativity Centers, which will also serve as retail outlets for Lego products. We believe Creative Learning Corporation is positioned to achieve exceptional growth, Pappas said. According to the companys official website, founder Michelle Cote, a Spanish teacher, got the idea for Bricks 4 Kidz when she noticed a school was looking for creative science. Cote thought that her sons fascination with Legos could act as a useful teaching tool.
