Buffalo Wings & Rings Named the #1 Restaurant Chain for 2008 on the Restaurant Business Future 50 List

CINCINNATI, OH — Buffalo Wings & Rings Buffalo Wings & Rings, the nation’s fastest growing privately held franchise offering the best Buffalo-style chicken wings, achieved the top spot on Restaurant Business magazine’s annual Future 50 list, a ranking of the top 50 fastest-growing restaurant chains in the country. The list appears in the July 2008 issue of the publication.

“Thanks to the combined effort of our community of franchisees, suppliers and corporate team, Buffalo Wings & Rings has witnessed tremendous growth and success over the past few years, and we are incredibly honored to have received this distinction,” said Philip Schram, president and CEO of Buffalo Wings & Rings. “This honor is a recognition of our focus on teamwork, guest satisfaction, and lean and efficient operations, and we’re very pleased to have received independent verification of our efforts.”

Buffalo Wings & Rings currently operates 35 restaurants in 11 states, with plans to have 48 locations in operation by the end of 2008. Currently, the chain has 80 signed contacts and plans to open 30 locations in 2009.

“Given these projections, we plan to open new restaurants at the rate of one per week in 2011,” Schram said. “We can’t wait until we see our buffalo head mascot in every major city across the United States.”
