The COLLEGE HUNKS HAULING JUNK concept started when former high school classmates Omar Soliman and Nick Friedman began hauling junk using their mom’s cargo van. The company has since transformed from a temporary summer gig into a million-dollar enterprise. Over 60% of the jobs are residential, and many of the customers are women desperately battling packrat husbands, which is no coincidence this "Junk Hunk" brand is so popular. Clients can book their junk removal appointments online as well as vote for the "Hunk of the Semester" in the company’s "Hunk 'Haul' of Fame." A portion of company revenue is donated to college scholarship programs.
