Canadian entrepreneur finds success with franchising model

Posted on October 12, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin

One of the ways entrepreneurs have found financial security is through franchising. Among the most successful people in this field is one Canadian with a taste for success.

The Toronto Star reports that Oded Yefet has used both his kitchen know-how and business skills to create of one the most visible crepe franchises in all of Canada. With more than a dozen locations throughout the country, Yefet, who came to Canada in 1998 has been in close contact with an advisor from the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses, and said that he had learned a lot from the organization.

Though it is not required, Yefet often works in one of his many locations in order to get a feel for how the business is going and what needs to be improved.

"I like to get to know my franchisees and my customers,” he said in an interview with the news source. "I like to work in the store, especially on the weekend, when there are a lot of customers."

No matter what type of business, there are many franchising opportunities in place. One of the best ways to get into the business is to take advantage of already established franchises in order to create revenue in less time.
