CiCi's hopes to hit jackpot with new Vegas franchise

In Nevada, one pizza franchise is making big moves when it comes to expanding its brand.

The Las Vegas Business Press reports that CiCi's Pizza recently opened the doors to a new restaurant in Las Vegas on August 3. The franchise's owner is Drew Denoyer, who isn't unfamiliar to the world of CiCi's, after having opened one in a nearby area as well. Denoyer said that he traced his success to the value that customers get from the food his franchises provide.

"[People have] been working harder and harder for their money, are more and more aware of the value they're getting for their money, and that's our sweet spot," Denoyer said in an interview with the news source.

While Denoyer takes on the role of owner, the new restaurant is currently run by store operator Mike Haskins. Haskins stressed the need for the establishment to become a "community restaurant, not a restaurant in the community," the news source reports.

Denoyer is hoping to avoid the pitfalls of the CiCi's franchise in Portage, Michigan. The Kalamazoo Gazette reports that a Portage restaurant temporarily closed its doors due to an ownership change.
