Cross-promotions a big help to franchisees![]() Posted on October 08, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin When two franchises hook up, the benefits to both franchisees involved can be endless.By cross-promoting two well-known brands two, different companies will have the added benefit of increased recognition among customers. One of the fastest-growing franchising trends is to include an express version of one franchise inside of an existing one in order to bring in more business. Mrs. Fields is one of the most popular baked goods franchises in the United States. In a recent announcement, the brand said that it would be opening a location inside of the Sunny Street Cafe in Ohio. The cafe franchise will offer the cookies to guests as they walk in and out of the door. "We are excited to bring Mrs. Fields back to Columbus," said Scott Moffitt, president of Sunny Street Cafe. "The Arena District restaurant is an ideal location to expand our chain's gifting and catering business, which is a key to our growth. We are close to many businesses and offer expanded hours for evening downtown sporting events." No matter what the two franchises specialize in, partnering up can be just what is needed to promote both brands. Franchises can get valuable exposure to people who wouldn't have otherwise seen them.
