Domino's gets new CFO![]() Posted on August 20, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin One of the nation's most beloved pizza chains is getting a brand new chief financial officer and executive vice president, according to a recent announcement.Domino's named Michael Lawton as its new CFO in a recent statement, marking an exciting promotion for the 11-year franchise veteran. Before taking on this role, Lawton worked as the head of the franchise's international business operation, overseeing the company's fast-growing global program. Under his leadership, the company added 1,000 stores around the world. "We are most fortunate to have Mike Lawton fully prepared to succeed in the important position of CFO," said J. Patrick Doyle, president and CEO of Domino's. "Mike has done an outstanding job of growing our international business, and getting it to a point of both critical mass and ongoing success." Lawton takes over for Wendy Beck, who was recently named CFO of Norwegian Cruise Lines in Florida. The franchise received good news when it was announced that its profit has risen 16 percent during the last year.
