Domino's posts increased profits in third quarter

Posted on November 11, 2010 by Stacey Fousse

One of the best ways that franchises are able to expand is by maintaining steady profits and beating estimates made by Wall Street experts. By running franchises around the country in an efficient way, more and more people will see the franchise opportunities and jump on board by opening their own stores.

Among the latest brands to beat expectations is Domino's Pizza, which saw its revenue grow by 11.7 percent in the third quarter of the fiscal year, according to the Associated Press. The franchise credited its improved product and marketing campaigns with the stronger sales figures. The president and CEO of Domino's, Patrick Doyle commented on the good news for the franchise.

"We're pleased that people love our reformulated pizza, the value of our offer and our honest and straightforward communication of our brand values," said Doyle in an interview with the news source. "We're a new Domino's. This quarter has proven that our strategy is working."

Domino's made other headlines recently after naming a brand-new CFO to its team. The franchise named Michael Lawton to the post, citing his experience in helping to grow the company internationally.
