Dunkin' Donuts gives teachers free coffee in Florida![]() Posted on August 30, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin In Miami, Florida, teachers who need a little extra pep in their step will soon get a boost from one of the fastest-growing coffee and baked good franchises in the country.CBS 4 reports that Dunkin' Donuts recently announced it would be giving free coffee to teachers who work in the Miami-Dade or Broward county school systems. As part of its Teacher Appreciation Day, teachers that flash their school IDs will be entitled to get one free cup of medium ice or hot coffee. "We believe teachers make a difference every day in our children's lives," said Dunkin' Donuts field marketing manager Jeannie Graff in a statement to the news provider. "We're happy to extend this special offer to the hard-working educators, which will hopefully be a nice pick-me-up as they begin a new school year." There is a limit of one item per teacher per visit, while supplies last. The coffee and doughnut franchise has seen its brand expand throughout the United States. From the start of 2010 until June, Dunkin' Donuts has opened up 338 new franchises, including 75 in the United States.
