Energy Kitchen Whisks Up Guilt-Free Start to the Day, Offers Breakfast Combo for $3.99

Posted on September 15, 2010 by Jessica Dees

Manhattan, NY – The most important meal of the day just got better as Energy-Kitchen, a fast-casual restaurant whose health-centric menu features no item that exceeds 500 calories, announces the launch of its made-to-order omelettes and illy coffee for $3.99.

Available for a limited time during September at all nine locations, customers can start their day off right with an egg white omelette custom-made with a variety of fresh ingredients, like low-fat American cheese, sweet bell peppers and iron-rich spinach. Accompanied by illy’s skillful and balanced blending of 100 percent Arabica beans, Energy Kitchen is providing New Yorkers with a guilt-free reason to rise and shine in the morning.

\"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we want to help customers jump start their mornings with a healthy and affordable meal,\" said Anthony Leone, President and Co-Founder of Energy-Kitchen. \"As more and more customers continue to look for quick, on-the-go breakfast options, we look forward to providing a delicious alternative that supports their active and healthy lifestyles.\"

Energy Kitchen’s omelettes are made with five egg whites and the customer’s choice of two select ingredients, such as sliced turkey breast, bell peppers, tomatoes and chopped bison, among others, allowing guests to customize their nutrition-filled breakfast. For example, an omelette made with turkey and spinach contains 251 calories and 53 grams of protein.

\"That is a breakfast that will fuel you through your hectic morning,\" added Leone.

Upon request, Energy Kitchen will honor the special offer’s price point for customers asking for a breakfast wrap in place of an omelette, along with substituting a Crystal Light fountain beverage instead of an illy coffee.

With a customer list that reads like a \"Who’s Who\" of Hollywood – including Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Paula Abdul, Uma Thurman and Adrien Brody, among others – Energy-Kitchen is introducing a new era of healthy eating with its nutritious and convenient meal choices. Providing low-calorie, low-fat, tasty eats that are good for you, Energy Kitchen invites its customers to eat healthy without sacrificing taste. Nothing on the menu is over 500 calories, everything is baked, steamed or grilled, and full-calorie sodas aren’t even an option.
