In a recent announcement the health-conscious brand said that it would be opening up its first franchise in Denver, Colorado. The Denver franchisee, Adam Peterson, said that the market was perfect for the healthy smoothie brand. "With the active lifestyles of consumers in the Denver market, we are thrilled to open the first Emerald City Smoothie, fueling the local appetite with nutritious and delicious meal replacement smoothies," said Peterson. "Emerald City Smoothies offers an alternative to fast food and helps consumers reinforce any exercise regimen or health goals." Emerald City recently signed a deal with the gym franchise LA Fitness in order to provide nourishment to members of gyms throughout the country. The 5000 square-foot kiosks will be a quick way for people to experience the franchise without leaving the facility.
