When it comes to business opportunities there are few as successful as franchising. Of course, there are all types of franchising opportunities available that range from restaurants to carpet cleaning and taxes to computer services. But, when a company begins franchising that means the company is successful and the market is receptive to the franchise.

Basically, when a company decides to franchise it sells its business plan, name, and assistance to an individual or company interested in running a business of that nature. The franchiser will set a franchising fee that the franchisee pays. At that point the franchiser will assist the franchisee in creating the same business, just in another location. This is called a franchise and McDonalds is a perfect example that everyone knows of. If you want to run a McDonalds restaurant you simply pay a franchise fee, set up your own McDonalds restaurant, and then receive assistance from the McDonalds corporation to keep the business running properly. 

If you are interested in franchising your company or buying a franchise then you should consider the pros and cons and if you are cut out for this type of business. After reviewing the different franchises available and your commitment to this type of business then you can make the best decision if franchising is for you.
