Franchising is a growing phenomenon![]() Posted on November 03, 2010 by Stacey Fousse Though he is thousands of miles away, one franchise expert is giving advice to those thinking about entering the market that can be useful no matter what part of the world one is from.Mike Padden, who is a franchising consultant in Australia, said that he and his wife found the franchising world to be extremely rewarding, helping them to create a home-based care franchise along with another business partner. He said that they had collectively sought out an untapped market, and had been able to take advantage of a good business strategy. "We put the franchise system together with Trish Noakes and it was clear she took time to get it right, had good skills, knew the industry and had plans for the future." Padden said in an interview with Franchising.net.au. "My wife Vera Randall was interested in the sector because she believes that older Australians deserve to be valued and have the right to choose between staying in their own homes receiving support or moving on to a residential care facility." Home healthcare franchises are among some of the most successful in the United States. As more and more of the population reaches the later stages of their lives, they will look toward businesses that fit their needs.
