Great Harvest Bread franchise to move to new location in Oregon![]() Posted on August 20, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin A bread franchise in Oregon has gotten so popular that the owners have been forced to pack up and go to a different location.Dan and Lisa Allen have found success with Great Harvest Bread, and as a result of the demand, they have sought to build a brand new, 2,790 square-foot restaurant, the Mail Tribune reports. However, before the new site is built, they must get the approval of the Medford Site Plan and Architectural Commission in an upcoming meeting. "We have been wanting to expand our business for several years," said Dan Allen. "It's been a tough search, but we are looking forward to offering a full sandwich and coffee program. We couldn't do either at our existing location. We're hoping to create a destination place for people to come, a midday meeting place with a unique atmosphere." Great Harvest Bread franchises have been in the news in recent weeks for their support of a good cause. A Great Harvest Bread Company in Charlotte, North Carolina, raised money for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Animal Care and Control Spay/Neuter Fund.
