IFA celebrates GOP mid-term victories

The International Franchising Association is celebrating the most recent mid term election results, which saw Republicans make major gains in the U.S. House of Representatives, governorships and the U.S. Senate.

The IFA said that the newly elected leaders would better serve the interest of franchisees around the country, thanks to their "pro-growth" economic agenda. The president and CEO of the IFA, Stephen Caldeira, said that the new leaders would make it easier for franchisees to run their business while helping to create more jobs in the future.

“Voters across America overwhelmingly agreed with IFA and small business owners on the need to elect candidates aligned with pro-growth policies that will create jobs and strengthen the economy,” said IFA president and CEO Steve Caldeira. “IFA congratulates the newly-elected members of the 112th Congress and looks forward to working with the leaders of both parties to advance policies that will help small businesses grow and create jobs.”

Caldeira made headlines recently when he spoke at a regional franchising convention. The IFA president spoke to members of the New England Franchise Association at a hotel in Massachusetts in mid-October.
