The group meets periodically to build lasting partnerships and discuss current events and what effect they will have on the business community. Upon hearing the hearing the news, Caldeira said that it was a big step forward for the franchising community and that he looked forward to sharing his knowledge with the rest of the group. "Being selected to serve on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 is truly a recognition of the economic impact the franchising industry has on the U.S. and global economy," said Caldeira. "Without question, serving on this committee provides a very unique forum in which to learn, share, align, and strategize on key public policy issues of great importance to the business community."
