KOKO FITCLUB CONTINUES NORTHEAST AND NORTHWEST EXPANSION

Company Signs Multi-Unit Agreements in Idaho and New Hampshire

BOSTON, MA: KoKo FitClub, LLC, the technology company that is reinventing the fitness franchise business, today announced its expansion in the Northeast and Northwest regions of the country with the signing of two multi-unit agreements in Idaho and New Hampshire.

Burley and Twin Falls, Idaho

James Lane Inc., a partnership owned by siblings Nick and Tina Kraus, plans to open its first Koko FitClub this summer in Burley, Idaho, which will be the second location in that state. The pair is also actively scouting locations for another club in Twin Falls.

The sibling business began with Tina and her new baby girl. The news producer/editor has a fast-paced London based assignment that keeps her busy with frequent travel.

When she first came across Koko FitClub, she was looking for a financial investment, and more importantly, a business that she could eventually run and still "be a mom."

Tina was amazed by the innovative Smartraining technology and remembers thinking, "I want to work out on this!"

Her brother Nick was a natural partner. The seasoned Idaho farmer and business owner is always on the lookout for new opportunities. Nick liked what he saw in the

Koko FitClub franchise, and considered Koko an "option to buy a proven business plan.

One that we believe in," explained Nick. Tina agrees and adds, "People are always going to spend money on their health. It's recession proof." Once the pair had their chance to work out on the Smartrainer they were sold. Nick says simply, "It was a no brainer."

Nashua, New Hampshire

Corine Murphy, owner and manager of Valde Salveo, LLC, will be opening the doors to Koko FitClub Nashua this summer. When she and husband Brian came across the Koko FitClub franchise while looking for business opportunities, it looked very familiar. The couple had their first experience with Koko several years prior when a demo Smartrainer was introduced at their health club. This early prototype captured their imagination and stayed with them. Says Brian, "I'm a former athlete

[and] I've spent a lot of time in the gym. What's unique about Koko Smartraining technology is you have a program that is built around you…something you have confidence in that works."

The business name, Valde Salveo, is a Latin phrase meaning "in good health" or "powerful health." It reflects the Murphy's goal to find a business for Corine that aligns with their personal commitment to building healthy routines for their entire family. The ability of Smartraining technology to streamline and simplify the running of a Koko FitClub, Brian explains, means that "the Koko FitClub business model can be successful and sustainable for our family long term. It fits." More importantly, adds Corine, "this was the one business we were both excited about." She and her husband can't wait to use the Smartraining technology in their new club. "I have belonged to gyms before and it's easy to get stuck in a routine that doesn't work. It's discouraging! Koko FitClub is different. The Koko Smartraining System gets results."

Koko FitClub is for the millions of people who want all the benefits of exercise but don't have the time or energy to figure out a plan that works. The company's genesis in 2003, according to President and Co-Founder Mary Obana, was the realization that, "Traditional gyms don't work for the vast majority of the population. They don't have time, and they don't know what to do." Seven years and $10,000,000 worth of research and development later, there is a solution. Says, Obana, "In an industry Koko FitClub signs Multi-Unit Agreements in stunning in its lack of real innovation, we developed the Koko Smartraining SystemTM.

It's revolutionary fitness technology that actually gets people fit. Think of it as a computerized personal trainer ready to coach you through a custom designed fitness program, all on your schedule."

The Koko Smartraining System technology precisely analyzes each Koko FitClub member's unique fitness level, then designs a customized training plan based on individual goals and ability. The Koko Smartraining System uses that information to guide users through personalized, highly-effective workouts on proprietary strength and cardio equipment, packing all the benefits of a 60-90 minute personal training session into just 30 minutes or less, and at a fraction of the cost. World-class trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Koko FitClub Chief Fitness Officer, Michael Wood, says, "Human personal trainers simply can't begin to manage all the variables or track progress with such precision as we can through Smartraining technology."

With KoKo FitClub, Obana and husband/Co-Founder Mike Lannon have taken the same approach to running franchises as they have to exercise. While Koko Smartraining technology offers a consistent, high-quality member experience, it also uniquely enables a relatively low-cost, easy-to-operate business model for franchisees, allowing a Koko FitClub to be staffed by one person and to be open nearly 24 hours a day. And, Lannon points out that The Koko FitClub franchise, with the exclusive rights to the patented Koko Smartraining System, is in an enviable position. "We offer breakthrough technological innovation that tackles head-on the biggest issue in this country: an aging, overweight population."

The ideal candidates for a Koko FitClub franchise have a strong desire to help their communities and are drawn to entrepreneurialism as a way to control their personal and financial future. According to Obana, "We are looking for people who want to be at the forefront of a game-changing new concept in fitness, health and technology. These new agreements reinforce our belief that people are craving a better way to improve their health and change their lives."
