Latino hotel franchisees gather in Mexico![]() Posted on November 22, 2010 by Stacey Fousse The leading members of the Latino hotel community will soon gather for an international franchising conference in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico.Leaders from the Latino Hotel Association will gather in the city for a forum entitled "Hotel Franchising" and give attendees the opportunity to hear about areas including management, marketing, franchising, ownership and development. The head of the LHA said in a statement that he was looking forward to the unique conference, which would be geared toward the Latino community. "This is the first forum of its kind outside of the United States," said Angela Gonzalez-Rowe, president and founder of LHA. "This upcoming event takes an in-depth look at hotel ownership/investment, management, branding and franchising. Among other topics we will discuss are keys to planning hotel investments, including determining economic feasibility. In addition, we will review rules and regulations required of a typical franchisee." Ambitious business professionals throughout the world can take advantage of the franchising opportunities available to them. Conferences that specialize in one segment of the population are a good way for people with similar backgrounds to come together.
