Midas gives tips to drivers over holiday weekend![]() Posted on August 31, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin As the end of summer nears, one car maintenance franchise is helping motorists around the country get their cars ready for roads trips during Labor Day Weekend.Midas has teamed up with "car coach" Lauren Fix to give advice when it comes to maintaining a working automobile - before a problem arises miles away from a person's house. "Labor Day marks the 'unofficial' end of summer and many people will be hitting the road to get in one last summer road trip," said Fix. "Taking proper care of your car before leaving the driveway is the first step towards a safe trip." Midas and Fix suggest that drivers check all hoses, belts and fluids before leaving town. The fluids include engine oil, power steering, brake and transmission fluids, windshield washer solvent and anti-freeze. Customers of Midas can also stop in and get a "multi-point visual Courtesy Check." Midas made news recently when it teamed up with the American Red Cross in order to support a blood drive in New York. They hope to help out a good cause.
