Minuteman Press Owner honored as Outstanding Woman
Farmingdale, NY – Joanne Miner, owner of Minuteman Press in Miramar, FL, was recently honored as one of the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County.
The gala which took place on May 7th, 2009 at the Signature Grand in Davie, FL, honored 100 women in Broward County for their Outstanding Accomplishments. When Joanne found she was being honored for her achievements, she was humbled for even having been considered one of the 100 Outstanding Women in Broward County; this isn’t the first time Joanne has been recognized for her achievements though, she also has twice been named business person of the year in Broward County.
This is the first time that this organization put together a gala to honor the women. The gala featured a fashion show by Stylistic PR, with designs by Sabrina Barnett, dinner, and silent and live auctions. Over 1,000 people turned out for the celebration and they were able to raise a significant amount of money for the two charities that sponsored the event; the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, and the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center. We here at Minuteman Press are proud to have Joanne as an owner of one of our centers and wish her continued success in her life and business.
