NewPoint Learning Center To Open New Location in Ft Mill, SC

Fort Mill, SC -- The NewPoint Learning Center is pleased to announce the signing of the lease for its newest franchise location in Fort Mill, SC, at Suite 101, 936 Market Street. The new Owner and Center Director, Terry Langley, is looking forward to being able to serve the needs of all students in the Ft. Mill, Rock Hill and Tega Cay area. The opening of this new center, on or before 1 May 2010, will make it possible to serve even more students in the Charlotte Mecklenburg area, building on the success of the NewPoint Learning Centers already established in Davidson and Mooresville.

Terry Langley's background includes a broad mix of public, government and business education, and training. With a Masters in Education, Terry taught math, science and atmospheric physics in the Department of Defense and more recently has served as a Learning and Performance Consultant in the finance industry. Terry thrives on the satisfaction of tailoring solutions to individual needs and teaching the most basic to most complex subjects to students from a wide range of backgrounds. Terry has a love of helping others learn to succeed in their current endeavors and to expand their horizons.

According to Terry, "By targeting tutoring to each student's academic needs, helping them identify and overcome any barriers that may be holding them back and including real life examples to practice applying that knowledge we can help parents ensure their child's success today and tomorrow."

NewPoint Learning Center services include tutoring, homework help, SAT and ACT preparation, and college planning. The company, formerly known as The Davidson Center, has been providing education services in Davidson for over 10 years and began expanding in 2008 with locations currently in North Carolina, Tennessee, and coming soon to South Carolina.
