Charley's Grilled Subs introduces the Spicy Asian BBQ sandwich

Columbus, OH – On September 28, Charleys Grilled Subs , the leader in hot, bold and made fresh Philly Steaks, will introduce a new Spicy Asian BBQ sandwich. Charley's Spicy Asian BBQ will add a new ethnic flavor profile to its traditionally all-American line-up, while catching the Kogi-style consumer wave that's sweeping the nation. The Spicy Asian BBQ will be available nationwide for a limited time.

Like all Charley's steak sandwiches, the new Spicy Asian BBQ is made with 100 percent USDA Choice Steak. A Koreaninspired menu item, the steak is marinated in pears, green onions and an assortment of authentic spices before being cooked on a flat top grill. Charley's Spicy Asian BBQ is topped with provolone cheese and served on a warm sub.

"Having found a niche in serving hot and made fresh Philly Steaks, Charley's is always looking for a sandwich to add bold new flavors to our menu," said James Pa, Vice President of Brand Management, Charley's Grilled Subs. "Charley's holds every item on our menu board to the highest standard of quality, and we are proud to unveil this unique, Korean-inspired sandwich."
