Pizza Inn Opens New Restaurant in Knoxville, Tennessee

Continuing Growth, Franchise Veteran Brings First of Three Locations to Area

The Colony, Texas - Pizza Inn, Inc. (NASDAQ:PZZI), an international pizza chain recognized for serving a variety of fresh, high quality products at affordable prices, announces the opening of its newest buffet-style restaurant at 5420 Clinton Highway in Knoxville, Tennessee. The new location offers buffet, carryout, delivery and catering.

With nine restaurants now open and operating throughout Tennessee, Pizza Inn continues to target the state as part of a growth plan that has revitalized the chain.

For more than 50 years, Pizza Inn has provided consumers with a variety of specialty and traditional handcrafted pizzas, pastas, salads and desserts in a dine-in buffet format with delivery and carryout. The company popularized a unique thin crackery crust that is made from scratch everyday and has since become the signature product offering. Over the years the menu has expanded, but the company's commitment to the highest quality ingredients, the friendliest service and affordable pricing have remained unchanged.

The Knoxville restaurant is owned and operated by veteran franchisees Jamey and Missi Brown, who own one other Pizza Inn location in Tazewell, Tennessee. Boasting more than 25 years of experience with Pizza Inn, the Brown's also serve as the multi-unit developer for the Knoxville area.
