Play N Trade Selects Hewlett-Packard as Official Technology Provider

HP awarded multimillion dollar contract for new Play N Trade stores


NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., – Play N Trade, the largest and fastest-growing video game franchise worldwide, announced today that it has awarded Hewlett-Packard a multimillion dollar contract spanning multiple years. The company has chosen HP as its official technology company to provide hardware for all Play N Trade locations and all new store openings.

After researching top PC companies, Play N Trade awarded the contract to HP to supply all point-of-sale (POS) hardware.

Play N Trade store locations will utilize HP rp5700 Point-of-Sale computer systems and HP retail peripherals including touch screens, receipt printers, barcode scanners and keyboards. HP POS hardware systems will help Play N Trade stores manage multiple aspects of their operations to save time and money including increased savings through detailed inventory tracking, enhanced workflow with faster checkout and automated reporting and tracking.
