![]() PuroClean Creates Superhero-Themed 'Franchise Force' to Battle the Evil Recession![]() Posted on November 24, 2009 by Suzanne Musial Campaign Engages Franchise Broker Networks to Partner with PuroClean to Boost Economy Tamarac, FL – PuroClean, the nation's fastest growing property emergency services franchise, has creatively turned the recession into an "evil villain" through a newly launched cartoon strip-themed campaign that rallies franchise brokers around a single cause: saving entrepreneurs through the sale of economy-resistant franchises. Through the use of special prizes and a cash incentive program, PuroClean is encouraging franchise broker networks throughout the United States and Canada to become a member of their specialized Franchise Force. The brokers receive Franchise Force information packets, along with buttons and colorful posters featuring Marvel comic-style characters. The goal is empowerment – the brokers are made to feel like superheroes by selling recession-resistant PuroClean franchises, thus helping candidates fight "the dark and sinister villain," also known as the recession. The posters feature superheroes stating affirmations, such as, "An evil villain has taken over the economy and is plotting to destroy the American dream … you have been selected to join the Franchise Force. As an elite member you have the power to save your candidates from your arch nemesis -- the evil recession." Keith Gerson, PuroClean's president and COO, said, "PuroClean is one of the fastest growing franchise systems in North America. The fact that we are projecting $99 million in 2009 system-wide revenues is a clear indicator that we truly are a recession-resistant franchise. Our marketing team came up with the Franchise Force campaign to provide brokers with something they can relate to and feel good about. The colorful posters and superhero theme is truly unique, and helps us stand out above other franchisors, keeping PuroClean top of mind." PuroClean enjoyed a record-setting 2008, opening 76 new franchise locations and grossing more than $68 million in revenues, up from $51 million in 2007. Most impressive were sales gains at existing franchise locations, up an astounding 19 percent from 2007 to 2008. The numbers for 2009 have been equally impressive, with 72 franchisees already opening this year.
