Sports Fans Never Have to Miss a Play Again At New Buffalo Wings & Rings Restaurant in Louisville![]() Posted on December 04, 2008 by Pete Kosowski -- Nation’s Fastest Growing Chain’s 45th U.S. Location Serves Up Tasty Wings With a Side of Sports --Louisville, KY, — Louisville-area sports fans now have a new hot spot for following their favorite sports teams: the newest Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant, located at 6501 Bardstown Road in the Harley Center (exit 17 north off Gene Snyder circle). With 35 flat screen televisions located throughout the dining room, bar, waiting area and even the restrooms, guests are guaranteed to never miss a second of the action while visiting the 45th U.S. location of the nation’s fastest growing restaurant chain. The fun kicks off on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, with the grand opening to the public. A private VIP event will be held Monday, December 1, 2008, during which local owner Anthony Wright will collect donations for Project LEARN, a program to support mentally challenged adults. "This area of Louisville is a tight-knit, growing community, and I’m excited to be able to give back, whether it be through charitable ventures, partnering with local youth sports leagues or simply by providing families and sports fans with a great place to hang out while enjoying tasty food and a fun atmosphere," Wright said. In July 2008, Buffalo Wings & Rings achieved the top spot on Restaurant Business magazine’s annual "The Future 50" list, a ranking of the top 50 fastest-growing restaurant chains in the country. The Bardstown Road location is the second Buffalo Wings & Rings in metropolitan Louisville and the chain’s third location in Kentucky. The Buffalo Wings & Rings menu boasts a wide array of fare suited to please everyone, including traditional and boneless Buffalo-style wings as well as hand-breaded chicken tenders – all fresh and never frozen, and available in eight sauces with five customizable levels of heat. Guests are encouraged to dunk their favorite wings in the Buffalo Wings & Rings homemade bleu cheese dressing, which is destined to become a local favorite. Also on the menu are massive burgers, crisp salads and Wright’s favorite, authentic charbroiled gyros. Guests can make their meal complete with appetizers including nachos, chili-drenched sloppy fries, popcorn shrimp, mozzarella sticks and the chain’s namesake "Rings" – curly-q fries available with or without Cajun seasoning. To wash it all down, the restaurant will offer 12 brews on tap, including Guinness and a selection of craft beers. The restaurant also features Wi-Fi, lots of arcade games, a TouchTunes jukebox and a party room that can be reserved for special celebrations. Buffalo Wings & Rings will employ 70 people and seat 270 guests, with plans to add more seating on an outdoor patio this spring. Located just minutes away from Fern Creek High School, Wright plans to decorate the restaurant with high school sports memorabilia and forge partnerships with coaches and youth leagues. The Buffalo Wings & Rings Bardstown Road location will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Catered orders and special event requests are welcome, and online ordering will be available.
