Stuck in a rut? Try senior care franchising![]() Posted on September 24, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin With the economy showing no signs of improving, people looking to start their own business have been seeking ways to make a profit while not taking too much risk. Thanks to the exciting world of franchising, ambitious entrepreneurs have found a way to both be their own bosses and follow a secure model based on years and years of success. The world of franchising gives nearly endless opportunities to those looking to enter a field of their dreams. Are you passionate about helping elderly people? There are literally dozens of elder-care franchises, representing one of the largest sectors of growth. For the past 11 years, one man has been running his own senior care franchise in Western Massachusetts. Since 1999, Joseph Arduino has operated a Visiting Angels franchise, finding that the business allowed him to help people in need and make a profit. "We provide services to adults in any age range," said Arduino in an interview with BusinessWest. "Many are 65 years and up, but we have many younger clients as well, adults with disabilities or in need of assistance during a period of recovery from illness or injury." As the Baby Boomer generation continues to get older, many will need to be cared for in the future. Senior care franchises represent one of the best ways to both help those who can no longer care for themselves and make money at the same time.
