The Dwyer Group Awarding Franchises for The Grounds Guys Across the United States

WACO, Texas – (April 13, 2010) – The Dwyer Group is now awarding franchises for its newest concept, The Grounds Guys, across the United States. The grounds care franchise is the seventh brand to be marketed by The Dwyer Group, and specializes in commercial and high end residential landscape management services.

\"We are taking one of the best track records in franchising across six other brands and applying it to The Grounds Guys to expand it nationwide,\" explains Ron Madera, who has been named president for the concept. It’s a track record he knows first-hand, previously serving as vice president of operations for Mr. Appliance, another successful franchise for The Dwyer Group.

The Grounds Guys is targeting existing landscape management contractors who want to expand their services and businesses and take advantage of a national brand. The franchise concept is also a fit for business-savvy executives and individuals looking for a new career opportunity as a franchise owner.

Robert Tunmire, The Dwyer Group’s executive vice president, is leading the effort with a team of three franchise developers to grow the brand.

The newest service franchise opportunity in the landscape contracting industry, The Grounds Guys comes with more than 20 years of landscaping experience.

The Grounds Guys franchise opportunity includes a $26,000 franchise fee and features business training and support, a centralized call center, complete accounting systems, preferred discounts on equipment [trucks, trailers, mowers], insurance, marketing support, credit card processing, proprietary software for estimates and invoicing, and a year-round business approach that takes advantage of all seasons.
