The right people make all the difference when it comes to franchising![]() Posted on September 03, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin There are many challenges facing franchisees these days. Many times it can be hard to know exactly what to do in order to ensure success. One of the first places to start is by making sure the right staff is on board to not only serve customers but also maintain a clean and safe work environment. It is not enough for the owner of the franchise to believe in what they are doing, the enthusiasm must carry over into a committed staff that will be there each and every day answering questions and telling people about the new items on the menu or about new products that are available. One franchisee who knows the importance of having the right staff is Doug Ducey of Scottsdale, Arizona. "It's proven that franchisees with exceptional employee-customer interaction do better than those who are just adequate," Ducey said in a recent interview with Inc. magazine. "The fact is, you can have a great product, keep a clean store, even have a great location - but if your crew members don't leave an extraordinary impression on your customers, you'll limit your business." Whether a franchise is just starting out or restructuring for the future, having people familiar with the franchise's policies can prove valuable when it comes increasing the bottom line.
