A leading law-related publication recently released the names of the top franchise lawyers in the world.Who's Who Legal recently released a report entitled Market Intelligence: Franchise, which ranked the best lawyers who primarily deal with franchise issues. Among the honorees were Phillip Zeidman and Erik Wuff, both from DLA Piper, based in Washington, D.C. Zeidman and Wuff were honored for their work in research and knowledge of international issues. "Philip Zeidman is the most nominated lawyer in the research," the legal site reported. "Interviewees describe him as 'dean of the international franchise bar'”. He is renowned for his international transactional practice and his counsel to a number of governments and organizations worldwide. Erik Wulff is also based at the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and one contributor commented that “he is able to provide invaluable business guidance to help clients through the deal." Other honorees included Lee Place, Andrew Loweinger, John Baer, Lawrence Weinberg, Frank Zaid, Mark Abell, Penny Ward and Rupert Barkoff.
