Training franchisees makes a difference![]() Posted on October 15, 2010 by Franchise Gator Admin One of the most important elements in any franchise is getting those who have recently become independent owners trained properly so they can become profitable and successfully represent the brand.By hiring people with knowledge of the industry, franchises are able to bring an added level of professionalism to the business. One franchise that has taken this to heart is Zips Dry Cleaners. The national dry cleaning franchise recently named Anne Weakley as its franchise trainer. Weakley comes to the position with more than 25 years in the dry cleaning industry, working for organizations such as the Dry Cleaning & Laundry Institute as an educator. "Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work in various areas of the dry cleaning business," said Weakley. "Because of my experience, I am able to pass along my knowledge to franchisees and answer a variety of questions that might come up during the training process." Having the right leadership is important for any franchise. The better trained franchisees are, the more likely they are to become a staple in their community and increase the value of the brand.
