"We couldn't have asked for anything more in our first annual convention," said Patrick Pitrone, CEO of USA Insulation. "The convention proved to the perfect setting for franchisees to get together and discuss what they are seeing and experiencing in their local markets across the country. It also provided us with the opportunity to recognize hard working franchisees with individual awards." Those awards included the Monthly Sales Award, which recognized the highest total sales in a single month, and the Outstanding Sales Award, which is highest single invoice in first year. Both awards went to Dov Carl and Mike Preston of Northbrook, IL. "To win these two awards during our first year is something both Dov and I are extremely proud of," said Mike Preston, co-owner of the Northbrook, IL location. "It's often said that the first year of owning a business is the toughest and our entire company worked hard to be successful and we look forward to an even better second year." The Sales Achievement Award, which recognizes the highest monthly sales average for the first year went to Eco Home Solutions of Addison, IL, which is owned by Frank Waldron, Sean Jordan, Carey Moore and Stuart O'Brien. "To win this award is extremely satisfying at a time when the economy has made all of us become more diligent at what we do," said Frank Waldron. "We hope to enjoy many more years of success with USA Insulation and hopefully more awards." The Sales Excellence Award was given to Tom Pavlowski of Scranton, PA for having the highest sales volume for 2009. Pavlowski added, "We are extremely honored to win the Sales Excellence award," said Pavlowski. "Everyone here in Scranton works hard to provide service which is above and beyond what is expected." Finally, the Most Improved Award was given to Mike Madden of Pittsburgh, PA. The award recognizes the franchisee that overcame adversity in business and provided outstanding performance. "This award is a tribute to everyone here at USA Insulation in Pittsburgh," said Madden. "We value each and every relationship we have with our customers and that is something that will be the backbone of this company for years to come."
