Unishippers hires new franchise developer to expand business

A fresh face in charge of expanding franchise opportunities can often have a big impact on a company, and Unishippers Global Logistics is expecting new Franchise Development Manager Richard Luna will do the same for the shipping services company.

As the largest shipping services reseller and a partner with several carriers, such as UPS, Unishippers and its 285 franchise locations across the country offer customers the peace of mind that comes with a 23-year-old company.

Luna, with his own 20 years of experience in business and franchising, expects the company to grow into new markets.

“Joining Unishippers is a wonderful opportunity,” Luna said. “Never have I seen a company with as much growth potential as I have with Unishippers.”

Unishippers president Dan Lockwood was happy to have Luna join the team. He believes the diversity that Luna brings to the company will “create new opportunities” for growth.

Unishippers is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, and counts more than 75,000 small to mid-sized businesses as its customers.

Bill and Wanda Sieber of Green Bay, Wisconsin, have owned their Unishippers franchise since 1992, and told the Green Bay Press Gazette they see “opportunities for growth all around” in the next three years.
