WSI trains returning vets in franchising![]() Posted on November 17, 2010 by Stacey Fousse Internet consulting firms may be one of the fastest-growing franchising opportunities in the country. Now, more than ever, business professionals from around the nation are looking toward experts as a way to improve their online presence.WSI, one of the most widely-known online marketing consulting brands, recently held a training event at its headquarters in Toronto, Canada, where it showed new franchisees the ropes. Among the people to take the plunge in the new business opportunity was Marcus Henry. As a military veteran, Henry took advantage of the franchise's Investing in America campaign, which gives former service members 50 percent off when purchasing a franchise. "Training has been great, the trainers have been able to answer all of the questions put forth by the class and they act in a very professional manner. I think the trainers here have just been fantastic. Don't be afraid to step out there, don't be afraid to do what you already know how to do. As a veteran, you just have to grab a hold of that courage that you already have and tackle it," said Henry. WSI made international headlines after attending the fifth annual Digital Marketing First Conference. Franchise representatives were among the 3,000 marketing professionals in attendance.
