Company Continues to Grow Through Community Support

2 Years ago this month, Acworth, Georgia Bar-B-Cutie begin cooking that wonderful barbecue, mouth watering ribs and those home-cooked veggies that have propelled them to emerge as a local staple.   For the second year in a row, Around Town Magazine has named Bar-B-Cutie in Acworth, Georgia, “Best Barbecue Place”.

Greg and Ed Kellam, the father/son team, are proud to have established such a strong framework of local support.  Their repeat customer database is growing daily as they continue to provide a terrific, high quality food at a competitive price.  They also pride themselves in their superior customer service.

Listening to their community has greatly contributed to the store’s success!  The Kellams have embraced local tastes by providing honey for fried cornbread consumers and by adding a fabulous Brunswick Stew to their menu.  One local suggestion Ed Kellam gives to customers who are not from around there is that reheating the fried cornbread in a toaster and topping it off with warm honey is now a delicious, Acworth breakfast delicacy. 

Recent store promotions include:  new kid’s club material (including ‘Improved Student Award’ and ‘MVP Player’ ball-shaped certificates) and “Cutie Cares About Education” program.  Another recent marketing brilliance has been the creation of the “Cutie Buck”.  This red and white paper which looks like a dollar bill with  “Under Cutie We Trust” verbage centered and stamped on the front, gives Bar-B-Cutie representatives a way to submerge their community in personal invitations to dine at Bar-B-CutieÒ.  The “Cutie Buck” can be redeemed for a complimentary Bar-b-que sandwich, a Christie Cookie or a banana pudding. Each “Buck” contains its own offer.  “Cutie Savers” , where customers can go online and sign up for weekly coupons, have also been developed for those email coupon gurus!
