Buffets Are Hot Trend for 2008 Wedding Receptions According to Crystal Rose Wedding Center

Posted on March 13, 2008 by Bill Dube

Denver, Colo: With the ever increasing diversity of diets today, it can be extremely complicated to plan a traditional sit down dinner.  The chicken or beef choices of yesterday are just not cutting it for today’s receptions.

In order to serve a sit down dinner today you would have to offer guests almost a menu of choices to meet all of their needs.  The cost of this would be astounding and that is not even considering the amount of time it would take to plan all of that out.

With a buffet, not only is it more economical, but guests also get to choose from a variety of foods.  Now there is no worrying who has an aversion to meat or who is allergic to seafood.

Worried about the buffet seeming too boring and cafeteria like for your wedding?  Then set up small sampling stations throughout the room.  This allows guest to move about freely and promotes more interaction.  If this is too adventurous for you, then you can set up multiple buffet lines to eliminate lines and congestion at the buffet.

And because the buffet is designed for variety, you can include more ethnic foods in your menu that you may love but your guests may not.  Think about setting up an Indian or Chinese table along with your standard salad, chicken and prime rib dishes.

You can even take the buffet as far as the wedding cake.  Many couple our offering dessert bars in place of the traditional wedding cake.  You can select an array of cheesecake squares, chocolate covered strawberries, and cupcakes.  And you can have fake base layers on the wedding cake since you are not serving it, allowing you to save money.

With four locations in Denver the Crystal Rose Wedding and Event Center has helped thousands of couples plan their perfect reception since 1987.  They are now sharing the secret to success with others by offering franchise opportunities.  “Crystal Rose is changing the wedding industry,” said Jay Byerly, CEO Crystal Rose Franchise Corporation.
