C2 Education Franchise Named a Forbes Enterprise Award Finalist![]() Posted on February 08, 2007 by ATLANTA, – Educational services provider C2 Education has been named among the group of finalists for the Verizon Forbes Enterprise Awards. The Forbes honor is presented annually in recognition of outstanding professional achievement in customer service, employee relations, marketing, community service, and new product offerings. In early 2006 C2 Education re-located its corporate headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia. This past year Georgia high school students’ SAT scores showed a marked increase, raising the state’s nationwide standing from 48th to 45th. “Our goal is to break the top thirty within the next three years,” says C2 president David Kim. C2 Educational Centers, Inc. began in Cambridge, Massachusetts as a home-based tutoring service, but it quickly expanded across the east coast, now boasting locations in eleven different states across the country. In addition to test preparation, subject tutoring, and study skills instruction, C2 engages in educational partnerships with local schools, which include SAT workshops, diagnostic testing for assessment, and financial contributions to school programs. C2 is also an approved No Child Left Behind provider. C2 is the only educational services provider to be named a Forbes finalist.
