Our very own Eric Bell was recently asked to speak at the monthly breakfast for the Southeast Franchise Forum. The Southeast Franchise Forum (SEFF) is a regional organization established to foster professional relationships throughout the franchise community and to enhance the reputation of franchising through the exchange of information, ideas and solutions. Members meet monthly to address local and regional issues that are faced by franchisors and franchisees. Jim Squire, CFE is Chairman of SEFF.
The topic of the most recent panel discussion was lead generation, and Eric was joined by Stan Feidman, President of FRM Solutions, and Jeff Katis, Business Development Executive for Franchise Media Update. The panel was moderated by Clarissa Bradstock, CEO of Any Lab Franchises.
About 50 executives from Atlanta’s franchising community gathered to discuss best practices to generate business leads with the panel. The group shared ideas and exchanged tips, notably that marketing should be a "balanced meal" of various tactics to reach potential business partners including print and digital advertising, franchise portals, trade shows and public relations.
Friedman said franchisee prospects will rarely remember accurately where they heard a franchise message, so "you’ve got to do it all." Bell agreed saying it’s always best to "cast a wide net."
