Gamer Doc Video Games Announces First Area Developer![]() Posted on May 12, 2008 by Bill Dube
Frank Borges to Develop Stores in California and Florida SEATTLE, Wash.– Gamer Doc™, the retail video game store that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced Frank Borges as the company’s first area developer. Borges will develop stores throughout Orange County, Calif., as well as in the Tampa/St. Petersburg and Orlando, Fla. markets. “The announcement of our first area developer is very exciting,” said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. “The California and Florida markets offer great expansion opportunities for us, and I look forward to working with Frank to open the first Gamer Doc store sometime this summer.” Gamer Doc stores are bringing a new innovation to retail. Customers are in charge of their own shopping experience, whether they are hardcore gamers, casual players, moms and dads, or senior citizens. Customers can easily find the games, consoles and accessories they want at the Xbox® 360, PlayStation® and Wii® “Gamer Centers” featured in each store. They can then spend as much or as little time, and receive as much or as little customer service, as they’d like before making their purchases. “Customers are going to enjoy their Gamer Doc shopping experience and will keep coming back,” Borges said. “I am very pleased to be working with Jim as we introduce Gamer Doc to the many video game fans in the Orange County, Tampa/St. Petersburg and Orlando markets.” About Gamer Doc Gamer Doc is an innovative franchise concept that offers the opportunity to own, develop and operate a retail video game emporium. Launched in December 2007, the Gamer Doc concept is focused on delivering a new and interactive experience to all customers. From dedicated gamers to Mom or Dad who want to try out a game, trade-in some old games or check out the latest titles and consoles from Microsoft®, Nintendo®, and Sony®, all customers will enjoy the ultimate gaming experience. Gamer Doc offices are located in Seattle, Wash., and Newport Beach, Calif. ###
