Fales joined HomeVestors two and a half years ago and said this recent purchase was a perfect example of how his business helps customers out of ugly real estate situations.

The home, located in Petersburg, Va., was in need of repairs.  But the owners did not have the time or the money to get the house in shape to list on the market.  Then they were faced with relocating to northern Virginia for a new job on a tight deadline.  That’s when they contacted HomeVestors.

Fales bought the home and his contractors will spend the next month fixing leaky pipes, replacing rotted wood and damaged drywall in the house, repainting the interior and adding landscaping.  Then the home will be listed for sale in what Fales considers to be an important neighborhood.

“Petersburg is next door to Fort Lee, which will be getting more than 3,000 additional troops soon,” Fales said.  With the influx of troops come their families, the contractors supporting the military, and a big demand for housing.
