KINDERDANCE™ CELEBRATES WEEK OF THE CHILD

Bring all children TOGETHER around the world! Kinderdance® will combine two celebrations. National Week of the Young Child and National Dance week in April from 13-19, 2008 – As part of the National Week of the Young Child celebrated across the country, Kinderdance® and its 115 Franchisees in 36 states and 5 countries are honoring young children and all those who make a difference in children’s lives.

“All young children need and deserve high-quality early learning experiences that will prepare them for life, and we have a great opportunity to do our part to help young children,” said Bernard Friedman, executive Vice President of Kinderdance® International. It is time to recognize the importance of early learning for all young children, and to bring us together to help give all young children a great start. We bring dance, movement and fitness programs on site to child-care centers recreational centers, churches, fitness centers, and many other viable locations wherever there are children

Kinderdance® is an affiliate of NAEYC, the largest organization of early childhood educators and others dedicated to improving the quality of early education programs for children birth through age twelve. Kinderdance® programs emphasize self-confidence and self-esteem in children by teaching them to share, lead, interact and respond to others' needs, as well as their own. The skills are taught using dance, fitness and creative movement, combined with education in numbers, colors, shapes and words. Movements focus on motor development, body awareness and gymnastics by using fun music and fitness routines.
