Maui Wowi Promotes Corporate Responsibility with Launch of Team Karma

Greenwood Village, CO — Maui Wowi, the Greenwood Village, Co.-based coffee and smoothie franchisor, continues to broaden its stewardship by looking for new opportunities where they can help make a difference in the Denver region. Recently, Maui Wowi launched Team Karma, a new philanthropic initiative designed to get corporate employees more involved within the local community and take the time to give back.

The first Team Karma event took place on March 26, 2014 at the Food Bank of the Rockies in Denver and proved to be a very enlightening and humbling experience for the entire Maui Wowi staff. Working together alongside other volunteers, Maui Wowi employees stacked and loaded 85,000 lbs. of food, fulfilling orders to be delivered to various hunger-relief organizations across Northern Colorado. The team also worked in the food bank’s reclamation department to sort donated products and pack boxes with essentials.
