Maui Wowi Hawaiian, a franchise specializing in gourmet coffees and fruit smoothies, continues to expand in the Dallas area with new franchisee David Smith; making Texas the latest hot spot for the island themed company. Smith joins several other Maui Wowi franchisees that operate a variety of business models throughout the state, including a food truck, mobile carts at large arenas and events, as well as fixed retail.
Smith has a solid background in business and also served in the United States Marine Corps. His experience led him to become a well-established co-owner and operations manager of a large business. Smith spent 15 years cultivating that company to represent a culture that valued family and quality service and he is now looking to chase a new passion.
